Making change with Bendigo Bank

Youturn is excited to announce that we have signed up to partner with our local Bendigo Tewantin Noosa Community Bank Branch.

As one of the big banks, Bendigo has a grassroots community focus and offer good old-fashioned customer service (in person).   Not only do they give back and support the needs of locals, they also offer very competitive interest rates.

Youturn’s Chairman Greg Livingstone said the partnership made perfect sense in terms of mutual values, goals and a local grass-roots focus. “Youturn has been supporting local Noosa-Tewantin youth and families for over 30 years and continues to be proactive in responding to local people’s social needs.  We understand a banking priority is making a profit, however in the case of Bendigo Community Bank, a large portion of their profits go back into supporting local not-for-profits and community needs… a perfect match for Youturn!”

The partnership agreement falls under the banks referrer program. This means any new business customers to the Tewantin Noosa Community Bank branch referred by Youturn, will attract a donation to our charitable gift fund account.

So for those who are looking to switch banks, or take out a home or personal loan, please consider Tewantin Noosa Bendigo Bank and remember to mention Youturn (and they’ll make a donation to us to support local youth in need).
