Our Mission:

“We support young & vulnerable people in their times of need, to live a healthy and meaningful life”

Youturn (formerly United Synergies) is a not-for-profit that was started 30 years ago to help address youth homelessness in the Noosa region.

Since then, our organisation has grown substantially and we now work across Southern Queensland with young people and those that support them, with a focus on three core focus areas of Child Safety, Homelessness and Mental Health.

CHILD SAFETY

Across our Child Safety services we work with vulnerable families across Southern Queensland who are affected by a range of challenges.

These have the potential to impact on the safety of children and young people and, in some cases, can mean that it is no longer safe for them to reside in the family home.

  • Young people whose living conditions make it intolerable to remain at home,
  • Young families who can’t afford secure and appropriate housing.

Our IMPACT

Youturn has a strong history of helping young vulnerable and disadvantaged people across Southern Queensland. This may be when a young person is experiencing homelessness, find themselves in an unsafe environment, are feeling depressed or anxious.

In 1989, when we started, we helped 6 youths with accommodation and 30 years later our services have grown to supporting over 9,900 young and vulnerable people to live healthy and meaningful lives.

and with your support, we can do so much more.
