Our Mission:

“We support young & vulnerable people in their times of need, to live a healthy and meaningful life”

Youturn (formerly United Synergies) is a not-for-profit that was started 30 years ago to help address youth homelessness in the Noosa region.

Since then, our organisation has grown substantially and we now work across Australia, supporting people of all ages, with a focus on four core areas of Child Safety, Homelessness, Mental Health and Suicide Prevention.

Our programs

We support people to have a safe and affordable place to live.

(e.g. Community Service including Child Safety and Homelessness programs)

We support people to flourish and experience high mental wellbeing.

(e.g. Mental Health and Wellbeing Services including headspace, Youth Enhanced Services and StandBy Support After Suicide)

Youturn has a strong history of helping those in need. This may be when someone is experiencing homelessness, find themselves in an unsafe environment, are feeling depressed or anxious.

In 1989, when we started, we helped 6 youths with accommodation and 30 years later our services have grown to supporting over 16,000 people to live healthy and meaningful lives.

and with your support, we can do so much more.
