A Celebratory Success: Youturn’s Annual Stakeholder Event

Youturn’s annual Stakeholder Event on Wednesday 5 November, was a standout success this year, made even more special by the opportunity to host it for the first time in our new office space at Maud St, Nambour, on the Sunshine Coast. The afternoon brought together our staff, Board members, partners, supporters, and community guests to celebrate our achievements and share what lies ahead.

The ribbon cutting, led by MP Marty Hunt, served as a significant milestone for Youturn, symbolising a new chapter ahead.

As part of the afternoon proceedings, Youturn CEO, James Blevin, shared our new Strategic Plan for 2025-2028 and our latest Annual Report. We also had special guest presentations from our valued partner Roz White of White’s IGA and Youturn Ambassador Ollie Forman, who is embarking on an adventurous and inspiring ‘Climb for Young Minds’ to raise funds for Youturn’s YouConnect Gym in Tawantin next year. Their words highlighted the importance of strong community partnerships in driving our mission forward.

A highlight was the Music Connect Group, from the YouConnect Hub at Maroochydore, who first provided beautiful background music before returning to perform their original song. It was a special moment that captured the spirit of connection and creativity at the heart of Youturn.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a memorable celebration.
