Young lives can feel like mountains…steep, lonely and uncertain. At Youturn, we believe no one should have to make that climb alone.

That’s why we’ve partnered with mountain adventurer Oliver Foran on Climbing for Young Minds, a sea‑to‑summit expedition raising funds and awareness for youth mental health. This climb is extraordinary but the goal is simple: to give young people safe places to connect, grow and strengthen mental wellbeing.

Oliver’s Story

Having faced his own emotional peaks and valleys, Oliver understands how challenging the journey can be.

After losing his mum at just 16, he knows the importance of connection and support during difficult times. Now, Oliver is turning his personal experience into purpose. By attempting a world-record climb from sea level in India to the summit of Mount Everest, he is helping young people find hope, connection and care.

Join the climb

100% of funds raised through Climbing for Young Minds go directly toward building a Youth Mental Health Gym in South East Queensland.

A safe, welcoming space designed specifically for young people, places where they can:

  • Connect with others

  • Build confidence and emotional strength

  • Learn practical skills to support their mental wellbeing

  • Set goals and discover a sense of purpose

  • Feel supported, respected and heard

Youth Mental Health Gyms are about prevention, connection and community, removing barriers and helping young people thrive.

Whether you give once, give generously, or share this appeal, your support makes a meaningful difference.
