StandBy’s Research paper published

StandBy is thrilled to announce that our first journal article from our current PhD study has been published! “Measuring the outcomes of support provided to people after a suicide or other sudden bereavement: A scoping review” in Death Studies.

Funded by StandBy, this groundbreaking research explores how outcomes are measured, captured, and conceptualised in programs supporting individuals after a suicide loss or sudden death.

We believe this study provides valuable insights that will enhance the postvention sector, fostering more effective support and informed service delivery.

A heartfelt thank you to our exceptional StandBy National team members, Shelley Ball and Alexis Lamperd for their involvement in the study and to the wonderful team at the University of New England Myfanwy Maple, Sarah Wayland and Alexandra Potter. We are excited to continue developing this important work and further contribute to advancing postvention practices.

Congratulations to Bess Jackson and the entire team for this remarkable achievement!
