This Mental Health Month, we are encouraging you to take some time for yourself.
While self-care is often the last thing we feel we have time for, looking after yourself helps you show up even stronger for the things that matter.

At Youturn, we provide individualised support to people often in their toughest moments. No matter the challenges or circumstance someone may be facing, support and connection always begins with the individual, family or community.
Good mental health isn’t just about the absence of illness. It’s about understanding our own self, finding ways to cope with challenges, setting healthy boundaries, and feeling connected.
When we take care of our mental health, every part of our life can see improvements – our relationships, ability to work, the decisions we make, our physical wellbeing, and even our housing stability and recovery.
At Youturn, mental health support runs through all of our programs. Whether it’s helping people experiencing homelessness, supporting families in crisis, or creating safe spaces to heal and grow.
Mental health services across Australia are experiencing a high demand from people of all ages needing mental health support. We believe that there is more we can do to support those in need, which is why we are fundraising for additional programs to complement our existing mental health services.
As a result of the incredible support received so far through donations and fundraising, Youturn have established the YouConnect Hub, a place for young people aged 12-25 to make connections, engage in additional activities, tools and innovative solutions to complement our mental health programs, and link in with support.
