Our Christmas Giving Campaign in 2020 was hugely successful with our community getting behind this initiative.  We can’t wait to share what we have planned for 2021 to help make Christmas a little more special for those who are doing it though.  To read more about last year’s campaign…

“Happiness does not result from what we GET, but what we GIVE.”

Christmas is a time for giving, sharing and celebrating… But the holiday season can also be a difficult time of year for many. With the generous support and donations from our local community, Youturn is committed to supporting and spreading a little joy each Christmas.

For many vulnerable young people and families experiencing hardship, a Christmas dinner simply isn’t a possibility and the giving and receiving of gifts is an unaffordable luxury.

If you are in a position to give and relieve the pressure off a family or young person doing it tough, there are a number of ways you can support.

Consider becoming a regular giver as there is a need all year round, Every act counts – no matter how small. (eg $5 or $10 each pay day, to help sustain and support throughout the year (not just at Christmas)

“Little by Little, a Little becomes a lot”

The Entertainment Experience package will be individually tailored specifically to each young person or family and includes:

  • Dining experience at a local restaurant or
  • A day out at a local water or theme park,
  • A Christmas tree,
  • A gift for each family member from a local supplier under the tree

(Each gift to a family or young person would be a luxury they cannot normally afford and at the same time we would be supporting a local tourism or hospitality business who are also doing it tough.)
