Our Big Hearts for Tiny Homes journey has had its bumps, but these past few weeks saw a great milestone achieved.

With the awesome support of some great local legends and our incredible Youturn team, the Tiny Homes are fitted out ready to provide housing for those in need.

Since the build was completed, install and fit out of the Tiny Homes has seen first of all our mate Dave from Dave Thomas

Earthworks put in the hard yards, working over multiple days and overcoming extensive trucks shortages, to get the fill down and ready for us.

When Shae at Douglas Partners, our trusty engineers supervising the fill, heard about the cause, they decided to generously donate their time free of charge.

Our Youturn team rolled up their sleeves, assembling furniture, building bunk beds, and hanging shelves, to make our Tiny Homes perfect for their first tenants.

Since our Big Hearts for Tiny Homes campaign launch, we have been hit with a pandemic, flooding, trade shortages, and a few hurdles. However, with a lot of community support, and great work from our Youturn team, we are now looking forward to welcoming our first tenants.
