Running for a cause

Running for a cause

Although the legs are still feeling the effects, we couldn’t be more grateful for such an amazing morning out at Jetts Fitness Caloundra’s Amazing Race for 2022.

The Jetts Fitness Caloundra team, who have been huge supporters of Youturn and our headspace Maroochydore centre, have always been strong advocates for mental health for many years, highlighting the important link between physical wellbeing and mental health.

Participating in previous events and campaigns such as the Push Up Challenge to raise awareness and funds, the Jetts Caloundra team continued their support by pulling together the ultimate race across Caloundra – all in the name of bringing community together, raising awareness and funds, and of course, having a little bit of fun! All the funds raised throughout the day were donated to Youturn and our headspace Maroochydore programs.

Starting and finishing at the beautiful Currimundi Lake, our Youturn crew, including our headspace Maroochydore team did us VERY proud on the day, with many of our staff taking part in the race. Our CEO Dr Tanya Bell also led by example and showed us how it was done!

We were fortunate to have the support of local Caloundra residents and businesses who came together to make the event a huge success, including the LEGENDS at Lulus by the Lake who hosted all the runners post-race, for a much needed breakfast and coffee.

Thank you to the incredible team at Jetts Fitness Caloundra, and the Caloundra community, for your support.
